About Us
AFFORDABLE INSTRUCTION
As a coach, you choose the length of your camps. You can have a 1, 2, or 3 day camp. The cost of the camp is $45 per camper for a one day camp. A two day camp is $65 per camper, and a three day camp is $85 per camper. Four day camps are available for $105 per camper. All price options include a 1st Team Hoops camp shirt. If, as a coach, you would like to use the camp as a fundraiser, you can add $10 per camper per day. Camps run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. 4 day split session camps and individual player instruction sessions are available on request.
THE 1st TEAM ADVANTAGE
The concept of the 1st Team Instructional Camps is to provide high quality and affordable basketball instruction for high school, middle school and upper elementary athletes. 1st Team camps come to you! We provide the coaches and the instruction, you provide the facilities and campers. Our instruction is tailored to your needs as a program. Focus is placed on shooting, (including a video review of form), ball handling, offensive skills, footwork, and the mental approach to the game.
CAMP DIRECTOR BIO
Coach Rick Rienks has been coaching at the high school and collegiate levels for the last 39 years. He has been a skills instructor for basketball camps on the NCAA and NBA levels. He previously worked for 28 years as a director for a national shooting instructional camp. Coach Rienks is currently coaching at Coronado high School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
